Work Options:  Train onsite in Appleton, WI on first shift (Mon-Fri 8:00 am - 4:30 pm) for approximately 2-3 months. Once training is completed this position is work from home (Mon-Fri 11:00 am - 7:30 pm).

Position Summary

J. J. Keller has an opening in our fastest growing department called Managed Services. This department is comprised of fleet and regulatory compliance experts who clients rely on to off-load the time consuming/complex tasks of managing driver safety and vehicle compliance. Our internal team of 300+ compliance associates perform work to ensure our clients stay up-to-date on various regulatory requirements. Given the fast growth in this department, we’ve had a successful track record of seeing associates join this team and continue to grow in their careers with the company.

Job Responsibilities

  • Secures temporary permits (fuel/trips, oversize/overweight, annual and regional) for clients in an accurate and timely manner. Validates accuracy of permits and distributes to clients. 
  • Determines routing of trips using maps and mapping software. 
  • Maintains appropriate documentation, such as call notes, state fees to be charged to clients, charges applied to corporate credit card and escrow funds, work order information, etc. 
  • Works directly with various state agencies to verify permit requirements and to ensure they are processed appropriately. 
  • Contacts clients to gather necessary information related to permits.

Qualifications

Education:

  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED).

Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in a general office setting, preferably in a deadline-driven environment.
  • In lieu, will consider a combination of experience and post-secondary education.

Other Skills/Qualifications:

  • Skilled at reading maps and ability to understand mapping software.
  • Ability to analyze documents for accuracy.
  • Must be proficient in the use of a PC and MS Office Suite
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Strong detail orientation and organizational skills.
  • Desire to meet and exceed client expectations.

Physical Requirements

Work is performed primarily in a standard office environment. Work involves operation of personal computer equipment for extended periods of time.
