Position Summary

J. J. Keller is hiring experienced consultative sales professionals to join our growing team of 400+ sales associates.

 

As an Inside Sales Representative, you will work from your home office, while being responsible for calling on existing customers, in an effort to position and sell new business solutions using a relationship driven sales approach. Your role will have a primary focus within the Transportation (DOT Compliance), Industrial Safety (OSHA Compliance) and/or Human Resources industries.

 

Our portfolio of solutions includes Training Solutions, Technology Solutions (ELD/Emcompass), Cloud Software, Managed Services, and Consulting Services.

  • Monday through Friday: 40hr per week work schedule (no nights or weekends)

Qualifications

Education:

  • High School degree or equivalency required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Experience:

  • 2+ years of consultative sales experience in an account development/relationship selling model

Essential skills for success include:

  • Able to penetrate accounts using a strategic and consultative approach to uncover and identify current and future sales opportunities
  • Ability to be assumptive while using an outbound sales call approach
  • Effectively apply sales process while remaining confident and assertive, and the ability to deal with sales rejection
  • Openly accept and apply sales coaching and feedback
  • Strong verbal communication and time management skills

Physical Requirements

Work is performed primarily in a standard office environment. Work involves operation of personal computer equipment for extended periods of time. Occasional travel to offsite offices, customer sites and/or industry and training events may also be required.
