Product Management - J. J. Keller Managed Services (Chemical Management & Vehicle Services)
As a Product Analyst in J. J. Keller's Managed Services area on the Product Management team, you will serve as a subject matter expert (SME) to the organization, translating business requirements into product requirements that drive high quality, desirable product solutions and systems / workflow requirements to meet/exceed the desired business objectives. This role is a passionate creator of all types of actionable requirements and documentation, including stories, incidents, acceptance criteria, release notes, systems and operations flows, etc. You will play a key contributor to getting the product owner ready for sprint backlog refinement, participating in all scrum events, and ultimately to the success of the product set.

In this role you can work 100% remote from a home-based office within the US, on-site at our Neenah, WI Corporate Campus, or a blend of on-site and remote from a home-based office.
Job Responsibilities
- Translates business requirements for product/service delivery to include customer facing components (UI), back-office systems, integrations, data mapping, reporting and client billing via internal business systems (SAP).
- Refines complex product requirements down into consumable work artifacts that Agile teams can execute against in a single sprint.
- Participates and supports the implementation of moderate to complex back-end business systems and product initiatives through design work, testing, validation, or documentation.
- Supports Product Owner in story creation, refinement and defining the acceptance criteria; as well as in validating developed functionality is acceptance ready.
- Collaborates with product, technology, and other stakeholders in defining the solution and representing the customer throughout the cycle from development through testing, replication of use cases, and validating the solution.
- Participates in the agile scrums, sprint planning, release planning, sprint reviews and retrospectives at direction of the product owner.
- Identifies dependencies and collaborates with the appropriate teams to deliver on time.
- Serves as a point of contact for functional and solution clarifications for scrum and support teams.
- Ruthlessly documents system / solution functionality for internal and external users.
- Serves as SME for customer support where assigned, to triage high priority issues, including workaround identification and potential defect remediation requirements which may occasionally include coverage outside normal work hours.
- Develop, support, and maintain product requirements, service flows and other documentation.
- Exercises independent judgment and provides guidance in diverse support functions and operations for the product.
Qualifications
Experience:

Internal Candidates:
- 5+ years of experience in a product support or customer facing role within the business unit.
- Thorough knowledge of technology related to the business unit’s products and services.
- Report writing/query tools desired
- Product Analyst:
- 2+ years of experience working with technology related products/solutions.
- Experience with report writing/query tools such as SQL, PowerBI, etc.
- Experience writing requirements for business software applications a strong plus.
- Experience working in an agile environment is a plus.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in a business-related field.
- In lieu of degree, will consider a combination of education and related experience.
Other Requirements:
- Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Technical aptitude with an understanding of systems and data flow.
- Strong business acumen with demonstrated skills in collaboration and communication.
- Intellectually curious with a desire to become a proven SME in product areas assigned.
- Ability to communicate and document technical and or regulatory needs to non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently and manage projects with a strong attention to detail and deadlines.

Physical Requirements
Work is performed primarily in a home office or standard office environment. Work involves operation of personal computer equipment for extended periods of time. Occasional travel to customer sites and/or industry and training events may also be required, depending on assignment.

J. J. Keller provides a competitive benefit package which includes the following (eligibility requirements apply): Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance, 401(k) and Profit Sharing Plan, etc. The compensation range for this role is $63,000.00 to $78,000.00 which varies depending on factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s overall experience and geographic location. Note that J. J. Keller is not currently recruiting employees to work in California.
