Position Summary

This strategic leadership position is responsible for the overall management of the Managed Services solutions, including growth, profitability, and client satisfaction. This position is also responsible for the strategic planning and launch of new service offerings, to include direct leadership of service delivery teams for select new services.   As an Associate Director, this position must operate at a strategic level, focusing on long-term plans and strategic priorities that benefit J. J. Keller as a whole. The work location for this role can be onsite at our corporate campus in Neenah, WI, hybrid or remote from home.

Job Responsibilities

  • Leads, develops and coaches associates, including Product Management and New Service Delivery teams:
    • Provides clear expectations, feedback and recognition
    • Participates in the hiring/selection process
    • Writes and conducts performance evaluations and progress reports
    • Handles associate relations issues 
  • Delivers results in line with the following key metrics/accountabilities:
    • Strategic planning for service roadmap
    • On time and quality delivery of new service offerings
    • Revenue and gross margin objectives
    • Associate retention
    • Budget control
    • Client satisfaction and retention
  • Collaborates with internal stakeholders and Portfolio team on the creation of a product roadmap for all Managed Services lines.  
  • Performs customer / market needs analysis and manage the existing assigned lines by delivering enhancements that address those needs. 
  • Develops and manages processes that transform business requirements into detailed product/service requirements, and leads cross functional teams in product/service definition and design. 
  • Partners with the Software Development team throughout the development process to ensure a high quality, on time delivery of features and functions that meet client / market expectations. 
  • Ensures future service line releases reflect the experience gained from external market activities, customer discussions, usage analysis, competition, and market research. 
  • Manages the delivery of select new services until service is stable and able to be transitioned to standard client service and service delivery teams.  This includes, but is not limited to:
    • Managing the high-level client relationships.
    • Developing new processes for delivery of services.
    • Overseeing the successful implementation and delivery of services. 
  • Partners with Editorial and other groups within the organization to leverage Corporate expertise in safety, compliance, and risk management to best serve customers and market needs. 
  • Monitors and communicates issues related to emerging technologies and market trends. 
  • Participates in Corporate planning initiatives to support new and existing market opportunities.
  • Collaborates with Portfolio team to ensure a sustainable, competitive service line.
  • Represents J. J. Keller at industry and market events to promote assigned services. 
  • Establishes and manages the Customer Loyalty Index for assigned services and creates specific plans and strategies based on periodic survey results. 
  • Carries out responsibilities in a fair, ethical and non-discriminatory manner and ensure that staff follows these same guidelines. 
  • Manages expenses in line with departmental budgets and corporate business conditions. 
  • Enforces and supports all company policies and procedures. Fully supports the company's commitment to safety and the environment and strive to maintain a clean, healthy and safe workplace. 



  • Bachelor's degree in business related field.


  • 7 years of progressive experience in a product management role with technology related solutions.
  • 5 years of experience leading product management teams.
  • Experience working with sales, marketing, client service and operations teams on new product launches or line extensions.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent understanding of product management processes and methodologies.
  • Strong project management experience leading complex solutions.
  • Ability to work with diverse, cross-functional teams throughout the organization.
  • Knowledge of complex Sales processes related to technology-based products or services.
  • Ability to recognize sales channel capabilities and package products accordingly.
  • Knowledge of Marketing processes required for complex solutions. 

Physical Requirements

Work is performed primarily in a standard office environment.  Work involves operation of personal computer equipment for extended periods of time.  Occasional travel to customer sites may also be required, depending on assignment. 


Travel Expectation:  10%

J. J. Keller provides a competitive benefit package which includes the following (eligibility requirements apply):  Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance, 401(k) and Profit Sharing Plan, etc. The compensation range for this role is $115,000.00 to $135,000.00 which varies depending on factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s overall experience and geographic location. Note that J. J. Keller is not currently recruiting employees to work in California. J. J.
