Position Summary

The purpose of this Business Analyst II in Sales is to be an advocate for Sales and partner with business stakeholders and technology teams to analyze, implement and continuously improve both sales process automation and business operations through the effective utilization of technology. Business Analysts are embedded in the business units so that they can develop an in-depth understanding of the core business objectives, have visibility to inefficient processes, and recommend solutions that support and enhance those objectives and improve productivity.  This role can be remote or work in our Neenah office.


Job Responsibilities

  • Handles complex situations through deliberate analysis and planning.  Achieves results on projects and issues of medium complexity without supervision.
  • Identifies, analyzes and facilitates the implementation of new and enhanced technology to support area of responsibility:
    • Work with Sales Platform Directors and various business units to define business needs, project requirements, system specifications, and deliverables.
    • Work with Marketing Business Analysts to achieve cohesive support for the sales organization.
    • Coordinates activities and maintains on-going communication with sales management, Sales Training & Enablement, technology team, end users, and other stakeholders.
    • Coordinates decisions based on business requirements, system functionality, and best business practices.
    • Participates in system configuration, data conversion, and testing processes.
  • Troubleshoots system errors and performance problems so that business needs are met on a timely basis. Provides 2nd level support for help desk calls.  Analyzes trends and develops recommendations to resolve recurring issues.
  • Prepares and updates documentation to include functional specifications, testing procedures, end user documentation, technical standard operating procedures (SOP), etc.
  • May create and maintain reports and analytics to support the business unit.
  • May prepare and conduct end-user training.
  • Facilitates timely and thorough system testing for new system implementations and system updates/upgrades.
  • Leads project management and change management activities for medium to large scope projects, either independently or in partnership with other project leaders.
  • Provides coaching, mentoring, and training to other Business Analysts.




  • 5+ years' experience working with software applications related to sales and sales process automation.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst/Systems Analyst with: SAP, Sales Automation Software such as: ECC, C4C, SalesForce, or other Enterprise CRM Software required.
  • Project leadership experience required.



  • Bachelor's Degree in a Business-related field
  • In lieu of the Bachelor's degree, will consider an additional 4 years of directly related experience.
  • Lean, CBAP or PMP certification a plus


Computer Skills:

  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • System implementation and configuration experience a plus.
  • Experience with report writing/query tools such as SQL, Crystal, Business Objects,a plus.

  • Strong technical aptitudes.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to facilitate project teams and work with all levels within the company.


Physical Requirements

Work is performed primarily in a standard office environment. Work involves operation of personal computer equipment for extended periods of time. Occasional travel to customer sites and/or industry and training events may also be required, depending on assignment.
