Software Engineer

Position Summary

This role is responsible for the design, development, and enhancement of enterprise applications and services. The Developer is expected to independently handle complex development tasks, contribute to architectural decisions, and mentor junior team members. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions. 

Job Responsibilities

• Independently develop and maintain features for web and enterprise applications. 

• Analyze business and technical requirements to design scalable and maintainable solutions. 

• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to secure coding practices and performance standards. 

• Apply OWASP guidelines to proactively identify and mitigate security risks. 

• Write and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for assigned modules and projects. 

• Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and support teams to ensure smooth deployments and issue resolution. 

• Lead small to mid-sized development initiatives and coordinate with stakeholders for delivery planning. 

• Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing and skill development. 

• Participate in architectural discussions and propose improvements to frameworks, tools, and processes. 

• Stay current with emerging technologies and evaluate their applicability to ongoing and future projects. 

Qualifications

Experience & Education: 

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in software development, including design, coding, and testing. 

• Proven experience in leading development efforts or mentoring junior developers. 

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. 

• Candidates with diplomas and strong relevant experience may also be considered. 

Technical Skills: 

• Proficiency in object-oriented programming and design patterns. 
• Strong experience with Microsoft technologies (.NET, .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET, Azure, etc.). 

• Strong understanding of SQL Server and relational database design. 

• Familiarity with front-end frameworks (e.g., Angular, React) is a plus. 

• Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (Azure preferred). 

Other Skills: 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. 

• Ability to work independently and lead small teams or modules.
