Position Summary

The purpose of this position is to develop and execute quality assurance plans, test strategies and procedures for assigned software products and/or services. This position will also assist with the creation of quality assurance standards and practices and provide mentorship to other team members. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Develops QA plans, test strategies and procedures. 
  • Performs workload analysis and reviews and assesses test coverage. 
  • Develops test scenarios, test cases and test procedures for web-based applications. 
  • Establishes and maintains test data sets. 
  • Executes test plans, coordinates test activities and mentors others with regard to QA procedures. 
  • Verifies test results, analyzes defects and submits change requests. 
  • Promotes a consistent testing methodology and ensures that prescribed QA practices and methods are utilized throughout entire QA process. 
  • Develops and maintains standards for quality assurance methods, processes, systems and procedures, including maintaining testing tools and defect tracking tools. 
  • Designs and maintains test automation frameworks, API automation.
  • Works closely with the DevOps team to set up test automation in deployment pipelines for CI/CD.
  • Keeps current with advances in automation methodologies and tools.
  • Provides mentorship and direction to a diverse QA team comprised of members of other work groups. 
  • Provides recommendations for go/no go decision for software release. 

Qualifications

Experience:

  • 6+ years software or web/mobile/API based Quality Assurance experience.
  • 2+ years experience in test automation, including working with various automation frameworks, automation strategy, scripting, executing and reporting.
  • Strong experience in setting up Automation frameworks (tools such as Selenium and Appium)
  • Strong API Testing / Automation experience required.
  • Mobile Testing experience is a plus.
  • Must have experience mentoring Junior QA’s / helping them grow.
  • Experience with Jenkins or other continuous integration software.

Education:

  • Associate's Degree in Technology or business-related field. Bachelor's degree preferred.

Other Requirements:

  • Basic understanding of relational databases (SQL), web technologies, Windows and IIS.  
  • Strong analysis and problem solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to function both independently and as part of a team focused on specific deliverables and objectives.

Keller provides a competitive benefit package which includes the following (eligibility requirements apply):  Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance, 401(k) and Profit Sharing Plan, etc. The compensation range for this role is $75,000.00 to $90,000.00 which varies depending on factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s overall experience and geographic location.
