Position Summary

J. J. Keller & Associates, Inc. has a rare opportunity for a confident, professional, and results-driven Field Sales Executive who will focus on selling Environmental, Health & Safety services to our National Accounts within the North Texas region. This role works in collaboration with an Inside Sales partner to develop and implement selling strategies while growing contractual business within the territory. This position will work out of a virtual home office.

 

The ideal candidate will have a strong background selling intangible service offerings, preferably in the Environmental, Health & Safety industry and will have some familiarity with OSHA and HR regulations. Successful candidates will also utilize a consultative selling approach and have experience with building a pipeline strategy.

Qualifications

Experience:

  • Entry-Level:
    • 3+ years of experience in a consultative selling environment.
    • Experience selling intangible services.
    • Strong understanding of the workplace safety and/or Human Resources industry.

 

  • Experienced:
    • 5+ years of field sales experience in a consultative selling environment.
    • Experience selling intangible services.
    • Strong understanding of the workplace safety and/or HR industry.

 

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Sales or Business

 

Other Skills / Qualifications

  • Ability to understand and communicate complex regulatory/industry information
  • Strong time management, planning and organizational skills
  • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Must possess valid driver's license
  • Must be able to travel approximately 50% of the time

Physical Requirements

Work is performed primarily in a standard office environment. Work involves operation of personal computer equipment for extended periods of time. Frequent airplane or car travel required for this position.
