Position Summary
J. J. Keller has a rare opportunity for a Regional Account Executive to join our National Accounts team. In this role, you’ll manage a portfolio of accounts headquartered in the Western U.S.—some of our largest and most strategic clients. These relationships demand a high level of engagement, exceptional relationship management, and customized solutions to meet complex business challenges. Success means anticipating client needs, deepening long-term partnerships, and consistently uncovering opportunities to grow the business.
This role requires a minimum of 50% nationwide travel.
Job Responsibilities
Drive Growth: Sell a diverse portfolio of products and services—including contractual business—within your assigned accounts.
Strategize & Execute: Develop tailored selling strategies for each client, including supply agreements, contracts, merchandising, and pricing.
Negotiate with Confidence: Collaborate with business units to finalize pricing, terms, and key agreement components.
Own the Process: Manage the entire sales cycle—from opportunity identification to implementation handoff—ensuring timely follow-up and seamless execution.
Expand Relationships: Continuously qualify accounts and uncover new contacts and opportunities.
Deliver Excellence: Provide exceptional service to internal and external customers, resolving issues with professionalism and care.
Stay Organized: Complete all documentation accurately, including expense reporting and customer visit coordination.
Qualifications
Experience
- 5+ years of field sales experience in a consultative selling environment.
- Experience selling intangible services.
- Strong understanding of theTransportation or Environmental Health & Safety industry.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Business-related field. In lieu of degree, will consider an additional 5 years of field sales experience.

Must be able to travel approximately 50% of the time.
Physical Requirements
Work is performed primarily in a standard office environment. Work involves operation of personal computer equipment for extended periods of time. Frequent airplane or car travel required for this position.

J. J. Keller provides a competitive benefit package which includes the following (eligibility requirements apply): Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance, 401(k) and Profit Sharing Plan, etc. The compensation range for this role is $205,000.00 to $225,000.00 which varies depending on factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s overall experience and geographic location. Note that J. J. Keller is not currently recruiting employees to work in California.
