As a Client Service Specialist, you will be assigned several accounts and will act as liaison between your clients and J. J. Keller's services. You will become an extension of your accounts' business and will serve as an educator to ensure they understand their compliance requirements.
How You’ll Succeed at J. J. Keller
- Establish and maintain relationships with assigned clients and manage client relationship. Serve as the primary interface between J. J. Keller and the client, to include such tasks as:
- Maintaining an open line of communication via phone, e-mail, fax, and correspondence
- Educating clients on regulatory requirements, providing interpretations and best practices
- Determining clients' needs and how J. J. Keller can best serve those needs
- Researching and resolving invoice and payment issues
- Updating client specific profile information
- Monitor client responsibilities to ensure compliance with service requirements; analyze compliance trends and if applicable, develop formal improvement programs.
- Ensure company and client-specific processes and procedures are completed accurately and in a timely manner. Assist with internal documentation of processes and procedures.
- Update and analyze client-specific reports.
- Maintain expertise pertaining to applicable local, state and federal regulations in order to provide education and clarification to clients.
- Assist with the implementation of new clients, including initial audits.
- Maintain confidentiality of client information under the FCRA, HIPAA, and other regulatory entities. Adhere to the department's data security policies pertaining to Personal Identification Information
The Skills & Background We’re Seeking
- 3+ years of experience in client service, preferably in a services delivery environment.
- Experience providing customer service experience in a regulatory environment preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree in business or related field preferred.
- Proficient in the use Microsoft Office, including intermediate to advanced excel functions.
- Strong organizational, problem solving, and communication skills.

Physical Requirements
Work is performed primarily in a standard office environment. Work involves operation of personal computer equipment for extended periods of time. Occasional travel to offsite offices, customer sites and/or industry and training events may also be required, depending on assignment.
