Position Summary

J. J. Keller, the nation's leading provider of regulatory, safety and compliance solutions, is hiring a Process Operations Leader to join our Managed Services department! 

 

The Process Operations Leader  position is responsible for leading a team of 7 associates as well as performing financial analysis to ensure accurate financial records for the area.

 

This role can be worked 100% remote or a half in the office / half in home.

Job Responsibilities

  • Leads, develops and coaches team:
    - Provides clear expectations, feedback and recognition
    - Participates in the hiring/selection process
    - Writes and conducts performance evaluations and progress reports
    - Handles associate relations issues 
  • Delivers results in line with the following key metrics/accountabilities:
     - Associate retention
     - Process improvement and initiatives
     - Tag Agent payments
     - Billing accuracy
  • Completes financial analyses for the area including monthly/quarterly reporting and project-based analyses, such as:
     - Strategic margin calculations
     - Profitability analysis for specific clients
     - Credit memo oversight
     - Monthly reconciliations
     - Performance metrics and financial reporting
  • Manages the annual budgeting process for Managed Services, including but not limited to:
     - Creates budget templates and provides guidance to budgeters
     - Audits submitted budget against historical run rates and investigates discrepancies
     - Processes the expense allocations for the year across the profit centers
  • Works closely with external auditors to provide information needed for annual audit.
  • Manages expenses in line with budgets and business conditions.
  • Carries out responsibilities in a fair, ethical and non-discriminatory manner and ensures that staff follows these same guidelines.
  • Enforces and supports all company policies and procedures. Fully supports the company's commitment to safety and the environment and strives to maintain a clean, healthy and safe workplace.

Qualifications

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in an office operations role with demonstrated experience with change management and business process improvements.
  • Prior leadership experience preferred.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in business related field preferred.

Computer Skills

  • Must be proficient in the use of a PC and MS Office Suite and advanced Excel skills.

Other Skills/Qualifications:

  • Effective analytical and decision making skills.
  • Effective organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills working with a variety of levels within the organization.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Business process improvement skills essential.

Physical Requirements

Work is performed primarily in a standard office environment. Work involves operation of personal computer equipment for extended periods of time. Occasional travel to offsite offices, customer sites and/or industry and training events may also be required, depending on assignment.

J. J. Keller provides a competitive benefit package which includes the following (eligibility requirements apply):  Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance, 401(k) and Profit Sharing Plan, etc. The compensation range for this role is $55,425.00 to $68,175.00 which varies depending on factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s overall experience and geographic location.
