Position Summary

As a Business Line Consultant with J. J. Keller, you will partner with sales representatives to engineer and close non-routine sales opportunities for Managed Services, including defining service deliverables, developing contracts, and completing RFP's.   

Job Responsibilities

  • Partner with sales staff with complex Managed Services business lines.  Activities include, but are not limited to:
     - Present service line capabilities
     - Provide regulatory expertise
     - Establish customer pricing
     - Develop proposals and agreements
     - Identify new service and enhancement opportunities
  • Evaluate client's needs and develop integrated solutions that meet those needs in a cost effective manner.
  • Provides pricing based on internal parameters.  Maintains maximum profitability and minimizes custom services and discounting where possible.
  • Works with Product Management and Service Operations teams to develop customized solutions and related pricing.
  • Educates sales representatives on Managed Services capabilities, processes and client responsibilties
  • Works with Sales and Marketing to complete RFP’s specific to Managed Services.
  • Works in partnership with the sales and first-time delivery teams to ensure a seamless service implementation experience for the client.
  • Services all customers/clients, internal and external, in a professinoal manner.  Resolves services problems to the mutual satisfaction of both the company and the client.

Qualifications

 

Experience

  • 5+ years of client service, service operations and/or sales experience

 

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in business or sales
  • In lieu of Degree, may consider an additional closely related experience

 

Other Qualifications

  • Effective verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Detail oriented
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong problem solving and analysis skills
  • Understanding of business financials.
  • Must be proficient in the use of a PC and MS Office Suite

Physical Requirements

Work is performed primarily in a standard office environment. Work involves operation of personal computer equipment for extended periods of time. Occasional travel to customer sites and/or industry and training events is required.

 

Travel Expectation:  5-10%

J. J. Keller provides a competitive benefit package which includes the following (eligibility requirements apply):  Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance, 401(k) and Profit Sharing Plan, etc. The compensation range for this role is $52,080.00 to $65,100.00 which varies depending on factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s overall experience and geographic location. Note that J. J. Keller is not currently recruiting employees to work in California.
