Position Summary
This position is responsible for food production in our corporate cafe and for onsite catering. In this role, you would work Monday-Friday; 6:30 am to 2:30 pm at the corporate campus in Neenah, WI.
Job Responsibilities
- Performs daily food preparation, garnishing, food presentation and cooking in accordance with health and safety requirements.
- Assists with planning creative menus and developing recipes in accordance with nutritional standards.
- Assists Cafe leadership with the ordering and inventory of product to ensure availability of supplies needed.
- Performs Cafeteria Server job functions as part of the daily cafeteria operations.
- Establishes and maintains a regular cleaning and maintenance schedule for all kitchen areas and equipment.
- Fully support the company's commitment to safety and the environment and strive to maintain a clean, healthy and safe workplace.
Qualifications
Experience:
- 2+ years of experience as a chef or cook in a banquet-style or batch cooking environment.
Education:
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED).
- Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) preferred.
Other Skills/Qualifications:
- Knowledge of food safety/sanitation requirements and procedures.
- Customer service.
- General knowledge of nutrition.
Physical Requirements
Work is performed in both office and industrial environments. Work involves standing for long periods of time, lifting up to 40 lbs, and pushing/pulling up to 40 lbs.
