Position Summary

As a Client Service Specialist you will have an assigned account base and will act as a liaison between your clients and J. J. Keller's services to ensure the client's needs are met in an efficient and effective manner. Given the fast growth in the Managed Services department, we’ve had a successful track record of seeing associates join this team and continue to grow in their careers with the company. In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Building relationships with your client base and frequently communicating with them via phone and email.
  • Running and formatting reports to share with your clients. 
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure your client base's information and documentation is accurate. 


These positions would work 100% onsite during the training/onboarding period and then could be worked half in office/half at home once complete.

We have two shifts available: 

  • Monday - Friday 8am - 430pm
  • Sunday - Thursday 7am - 330pm. This shift is eligible for a $1.00/hr. shift differential for the hours worked on Sunday. This position will have a 6-week training period of Monday - Friday 8am - 430pm CST.

Job Responsibilities

  • Establishes and maintains relationships with assigned clients and manages client relationship.  Serves as the primary interface between J. J. Keller and the client, to include such tasks as:
    • Maintaining an open line of communication via phone, e-mail, fax, and correspondence
    • Educating clients on regulatory requirements, providing interpretations and best practices
    • Determining clients' needs and how J. J. Keller can best serve those needs
    • Researching and resolving invoice and payment issues
    • Updating client specific profile information
  • Monitors client responsibilities to ensure compliance with service requirements; analyzing compliance trends and if applicable, developing formal improvement programs.
  • Ensures company and client-specific processes and procedures are completed accurately and in a timely manner.  Assists with internal documentation of processes and procedures.
  • Updates and analyzes client-specific reports.
  • Maintains expertise pertaining to applicable local, state and federal regulations in order to provide education and clarification to clients.
  • Assists with the implementation of new clients, including initial audits.
  • Maintains confidentiality of client information under the FCRA, HIPAA, and other regulatory entities.  Adheres to the department's data security policies pertaining to Personal Identification Information.

The Skills & Background We're Seeking

  • Customer interaction experience (such as sales support, retail sales, hospitality, food service, customer service, etc.)
  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED).
  • Proficient in the use Microsoft Office, including intermediate to advanced excel functions preferred. 
  • Strong organizational, problem solving, and communication skills.

Physical Requirements

Work is performed primarily in a standard office environment. Work involves operation of personal computer equipment for extended periods of time. Occasional travel to offsite offices, customer sites and/or industry and training events may also be required, depending on assignment.
