Position Summary
The purpose of this position is to support marketing campaign efforts to promote products and services. The position will work collaboratively across business units and assignments will primarily consist of reporting and data analysis activities.
Job Responsibilities
- Creates and processes contact lists for promotional campaigns based on analysis or supplied specs; resolves any list issues (shortages, overages, inconsistencies, etc.) and modify weekly to conform to corporate customer contact guidelines.
- Functions as Subject Matter Expert (SME) on projects related to customer data, trends, etc.
- Transforms raw data into finished products, working with a variety of systems and data files; includes but not limited to analyzing file structure, creating file layouts, streamlining monthly reporting.
- Collaborates with stakeholders to analyze and clarifying needs to identify best tools and methods to develop, deliver and maintain internal and client-facing lists/reports using a variety of automation, tools, and systems
- Assists with preparing and maintaining standardized sales support materials such as proposals, sales tools, price book, and other sales resources.
- Creates ad-hoc reports with sales, customer, and marketing data to support business needs.
- Provides training to end users across departments on reporting tools or requests, such as BI reporting, Marketing Hub, Pivot Tables, List Reqs etc.
- Runs multiple scripts and queries to assemble a report or series of reports related to the same topic. Troubleshoots problems and questions and monitors for issues and exceptions as necessary.
- Maintains performance-related information for marketing teams, such as scorecards.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED).
- Associate degree in a business, marketing or technology related field desirable.
- 2+ years of reporting/data analysis experience, preferably in a sales or marketing environment.
Other Skills/Qualifications:
- Knowledge of SAP BI, SAS, MS Access, and/or other similar database software desired.
- Strong investigative, organizational, & analytical skills.
- Proficient in spreadsheet creation, report design, and data manipulation.
- Ability to pull, analyze, and summarize large amounts of data.
- Good communication skills.
- Understanding of Sales and Marketing functions.
Physical Requirements
Work is performed primarily in a standard office environment. Work involves operation of personal computer equipment for extended periods of time. Occasional travel to customer sites and offsite facilities may be required.

J. J. Keller provides a competitive benefit package which includes the following (eligibility requirements apply): Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance, 401(k) and Profit Sharing Plan, etc. The compensation range for this role is $18.95 to $23.40 which varies depending on factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s overall experience and geographic location. Note that J. J. Keller is not currently recruiting employees to work in California.
