Position Summary

The purpose of this position is to develop and lead digital marketing plans and programs for various J. J. Keller products/services.  This position takes a leadership role for Content Management Systems (CMS) and digital promotions. This includes developing and implementing new digital strategies and improving user engagement for multiple sites in conjunction with all key stakeholders and areas.

Job Responsibilities

  • Recommends, develops and implements strategies for new digital marketing and lead generation.
  • Manages customer-facing digital lead and communication channels.
  • Responsible for Content Management System (CMS) sites and their direction to optimize user experience, increase site traffic and generate leads, with an understanding of online advertising, paid search, SEO and Social media.
  • Develops and manages Pay-Per-Click twelve-month schedules, forecasts, and budgets.
  • Identifies and implements subscriber communication opportunities to increase retention, site usage and overall engagement.
  • Tracks and maintains site analytics to provide up-to-date information and identify user trends and opportunities.
  • Tracks digital promotion results based on varying promotion objectives. Responsible for changing plans based on results, including rollout decisions and stopping or modifying declining promotions.
  • Performs analyses of promotions and user experience using Google Analytics and other digital analytic tools. Responsible for defining the analysis objectives, understanding the data, performing analysis, presenting results and effectiveness, and modifying plans based on results.

Qualifications

Experience:

  • 3+ years marketing experience, preferably in a direct response environment.
  • Business-to-Business marketing experience preferred.
  • Experience working with Content Managment Systems. 
  • Experience working with web analytic tools such as Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Sales or Business-related field. In lieu, may consider combination of equivelent experience and education combined. 

Other Skills/Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of online advertising and best practices – Paid search, SEO, Social, etc.
  • Knowledge of email service providers as well as the creation and tracking tools available.
  • Strong knowledge of content marketing and strategy.
  • Proven understanding of marketing principles.
  • Ability to strategically assess the needs of the marketplace and make decisions based on the findings.
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to integrate plans with multiple areas.
  • Ability to perform analysis of promotions, margins, target audiences, and purchasing patterns.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple projects and tasks.
  • Demonstrated written, creative and verbal communication skills.

Physical Requirements

Work is performed primarily in a standard office environment. Work involves operation of personal computer equipment for extended periods of time. Occasional travel to offsite offices, customer sites and/or industry and training events may also be required, depending on assignment.
